Shopping for your family’s apparel needs can be a grueling, exhausting and quite frankly a thankless job. When my husband surprised the family with a weeklong cruise vacation, I was overjoyed with the idea of a family holiday until I realized what it was going to entail to get everyone outfitted in cruise apparel. The thoughts were daunting and I began to panic when I realized I had only a short amount of time before the departure date. Check out their website as well since, often, their website is cheaper than their store.  Print out the price off of Best Buy’s site and bring all of this with you to the store.  Finally, time to negotiate!  Try to go during a slow time, like a week night, and usually an hour or so before close.  Managers have a goal to meet for the day so you can help them with your purchase.  You will most likely need to speak with the manager since most associates don’t have negotiating power.  Show them your printouts and ask what the best deal is that they can give you.  If you are buying multiple things, be sure to show them your entire shopping list as they may be able to come up with a better price as well.  Have fun and, if necessary, don’t be afraid to leave and order online.
